Install WordPress on a website Hostgator

Installing a WordPress blog on your own can be a bit 'of a process. It 'pretty simple after all, but if you're new to things like FTP, and MySQL, which can be a lot of process.

Fortunately, many hosts make the process simple. HostGator is one of these guests and their WordPress installation really could not be easier. And it's a small job in cPanel website - but it will have to do with anything too important.

1. Navigate tocPanel website. The easiest way to do this, simply enter the domain name in the address bar of your browser followed by a backslash and the word cpanel. For example, it would look like this: www. Domain. com / cpanel. Once you have written in (instead of the domain of your site with your course), hit enter and you will be taken to step two.

2. Access. Once you hit enter you will get a pop up asking for username and password. These shouldbe in your record since you opened your hosting account. If you forgot or lost them you will have to contact support HostGator.

3. Find great. You'll see a lot of icons and options when you enter the cPanel. If you do not know what something is, do not touch it. From this cPanel you can do just about anything you want to your site, not all things that are good. What you're looking for is under the heading Software / Services and can be foundnear the bottom of the page. You will see a smiling face blue called Fantastico De Luxe. Click on it.

4. Choose WordPress. Fantastico has a ton of application can be installed for you. WordPress will see the left sidebar near the top in the blog. Click this.

5. New installation. After you click on this page to the right will change and you will see a link for new installation and you will be taken to another new page.

6.Choose Your Domain. Hostgator Many accounts have multiple domains. This page allows you to choose which domain you want to install WordPress. Choose from the menu at the top. This page will allow you to enter your user name and password you use to access your WordPress site. Near the bottom you can also the title of your site and add a description of the site.

7. Install. Click Install WordPress and your site will be created. You getthe ability to send details to your e-mail and I will suggest you do this as your username and password for future reference.

That's it! This is the easy Hostgator makes installation of WordPress. A number of hosts have Fantastico installed, and the method will be the same on all these hosts as well. Good luck with your website just installed WordPress.
